The caramelized crust (actually it’s the Maillard Effect) is the first part of your bite—after you crunch through you’re greeted by extra soft 00 stone milled wheat. The contrast of the textures is so surprising. 😊😊😊

I upped the % of Rouge de Bordeaux whole wheat— looking for a bump in flavor—but look at the gorgeous cocoa-colored crust!
