Dear DD, I was gifted an order of this yummy from a customer tonight when I delivered her order to her at Chuy's, just for being nice😋 Sorry, this deserved its own post😁

Good morning, DD!

While driving deliveries last week, I started trying to capture a good pic of the gorgeous patches or fields of Bluebonnets sprinkled with Indian Paintbrush blooms that are beginning to spring up around the city, but I'm still working on it 🙃 It's not an easy task from the car while in motion😁. I look like a crazy car, stopping with my flashers on, reversing or circling around and around turn around intersections to try and get good pics of anything, lol. Here are a few decent shots from the week though and a couple of sunset pics from yesterday...I just love sunsets, always so pretty🥰 I would love to see your Bluebonnet pics in the comments!!!

Today is 3/17/2023 and a freakish thing has happened on this St. Patrick's Day today!! A coldish cool front has blown in ⛈ and blown out the hot Texas weather🌬🥵👏🏼 Sooo, I thought I'd share a couple of 'cold weather-warm food' spots in Austin that have been pretty popular during previous colder weather delivery days. I'd LOVE to hear about YOUR fave cold weather places/foods in the comments below, even if you are not local🥰 🗺📍

My #2 pick is MICHI RAMEN🍜
I'll admit, it was an odd feeling little place that seemed to have almost a cultish following, but maybe I was just sleepy at the time😉 There was no in store dining and only a window for placing and picking up orders but you can order online too...I would highly recommend this so you are not waiting 30 minutes for your food. It was very busy the times I picked up there, BUT after seeing some very mixed reviews online, not sure about this place just yet. Still seems worth the mention🙃

My #1 pick is...THE SOUP PEDDLER!! A cute little hole in the wall place on South Lamar (just one of several Austin locations). They seem to be known for more menu options than their name suggests, but I think soup is the main love here, especially on days like today! I've mainly picked up orders there on cold or rainy days and the customers ordered soups and grilled cheese...it smelled quite yummm 😋🍲🥪.
