These cream puffs remind me of married life: sweet on the inside and tough on the outside.
Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary. Crazy that it's been ten years of dating and four years of marriage. My husband and I have grown so much together, but there's one thing that remains the same: we love each other more than ever.
Marriage requires trust, vulnerability, and gratitude. It requires working through difficult conversations and disagreements, being honest about your feelings, and being OK with not always having the last word. It takes the ability to hold two opposing ideas in your head at once: that you are a team but also individuals.
Mostly, though, it's about love: loving your partner, loving yourself, and remembering to keep love at the center of your relationship. That's what it means to me—I would love to hear what it means to you!
What are some lessons you've learned as a married person?

This picture is giving me Mars vibes, and I like it!
I have been watching many of NASA's live video feeds from the Rover Perseverance since its successful landing on Feb 18, 2021. If you haven't watched any of their videos, check them out on YouTube. It's incredible. Space exploration is an amazing feat, and I can't wait to see what they find there.
I know, I know, this is food photography. But I believe that food photography is similar to space exploration. It helps us see things in new ways—while humans can't actually travel to Mars yet, we can certainly dream about it.
And the landing of Perseverance has inspired so many people worldwide, including me, to continue to think big and dream big and do big.
Are you ready to explore something new? Tell me about your upcoming projects in the comments below.

March is Women's History Month, and it's a time to honor and celebrate the vital role of women in American history. As a woman, I'm inspired daily by badass feisty women that know how to break through barriers.
Being the youngest and only sister (three older brothers) in my family, with a single mom, I was taught to be strong, driven, and independent. I learned how to speak up and stand out. While that was sometimes annoying, it shaped me into an individual who isn't afraid to be herself, embrace her uniqueness, or challenge the status quo (even if it means being "the squeaky wheel").
I'm curious about your experience: what is one thing you wish you could share with your younger self?
