Is your team on the same page?
The process to simplify a company story takes on a lot trimming the fat, so to speak.
However, getting the team and future team involved into the process develops the roots of the story.
Unifying a team isn't about getting everyone to speak the same language & style...
Rather, it's integrated into allowing all parties the space to share differing perspectives to add to the bigger picture. Then trimming what is revealed as unproductive toward the solution of the client problem.
Allow transparency, space, & collaboration in this process.
Unifying isn't the goal, it's the process.

Stories don't need to be complicated.
Keep yours simple.
If you're launching a start up or pushing through the strains of a long overdue brand refresh - simplifying your company story down will benefit all parties.
Think about it this way:
Distill the business process down to The Main Problem, The Main Customer, & The Main Solution.
Of course this won't hit every area of your company, but this will hit all the right areas for your ideal client.
Speak their language and guide them to a solution.
Begin by simplifying all that you do.
