Really enjoyed the full transformation of this Hyde Park home. The Master Bath turned out great, including refurbishing the old claw footed tub.

Who wouldn't leap at the opportunity to convert an old metal barn into a Hot Rod Showroom??? This old storage unit was purchased with the land it is set on in Driftwood Texas, about 30 min from Downtown Austin. The main objective was to update the bathroom, install a new kitchen, install some more natural light, insulate the whole structure and park some hot rods inside. The space serves as both an office and showroom for the owner. Don't miss the beautiful shelf running through the newly installed steel window or the ornate carriage doors installed in front of the roll up door!.

A glimpse of our Riverview Project! For this one, we completely gutted EVERYTHING inside, added two new bathrooms, beautiful antique door hardware and custom kitchen + bathroom cabinetry throughout. The goal was to keep the character and foot print of the original home while completely re presenting the interior. It worked! :).

Another project close to the heart for us, since it was in the early stages of RubyAnne. This remodel was full of creative ideas, including steel countertops, using old siding for sliding doors into the Master Bath, re-purposed ship lap interior wall board and more. We were able to completely overhaul the floor plan on this old home in Hyde Park without changing its enduring character and historic feel. Private bedrooms and baths exist on the east side of the home, while the communal areas all bleed into one another on the west side of the home..

Another really fantastic project, fully designed by RubyAnne Designs for an Austin based painter working in fairly large format. Light and height were the key to this project...and we DID IT! Windows were purposely placed high, multiple skylights were added and vaulted ceilings made this a painter's ideal environment. Also, of note are the beautiful formed concrete wall and the amazing height of the screened in porch. .

This East Austin home arrived to us with many "flaws" that we really liked. So much so we decided to duplicate them and make the age of the home, the theme of the design. We added a guest bedroom, office, laundry room and master bath on the back in the spirit of the time it was built, being very conservative with added square footage and also having some fun along the way. There are hidden doors, hidden iron boards, a bench made from driftwood, and all kinds of surprises. .
