Most Brands Never Fail Publicly.
They Fade Quietly.
A Few Delayed Decisions.
A Few Missed Opportunities.
A Little Too Much Waiting.
And Eventually
The Energy Is Gone.
That’s Why I’m Moving Faster Now.
Saturday Palms Exists.
The Product Exists.
The Vision Exists.
Now It’s About Momentum.
Not Perfection.
Not Timing.
Momentum.
Because The Brands That Win
Usually Aren’t The Ones
That Had The Best Start.
They’re The Ones
That Refused To Slow Down.

This Is Who I Am Right Now. All Of It.
Deputy Constable. Sworn In Monday. Walking Courthouse Halls Every Day This Week. Badge On. Head Down. Serving Something Bigger Than Myself.
Founder. Five Years Of Captains & Cowboys. Building Brands Worth Remembering For Founders Who Are Tired Of Looking Like Everyone Else.
Builder. Saturday Palms Is Coming. Summer Club. Salty Dog. Brands Built From Real Places For Real People. Still Finding The People Who Believe In Them As Much As I Do.
Husband. Father. Two Kids Who Don’t Care About Any Of The Above. Megan Who Makes All Of It Actually Possible.
None Of It Contradicts. All Of It Is The Same Person.
This Is What Building A Life Looks Like When You Refuse To Choose Just One Thing To Be.
That’s The Week. That’s The Life. Back At It Tomorrow.
Nobody Talks About This Part Of The Build.
The Brand Is Ready. The Product Is Ready. Everything Is Ready.
And You’re Still Sitting Across From Investors Asking Them To Believe In Something They Can’t Fully See Yet.
That’s Where Saturday Palms Is Right Now.
The Vision Is Clear. The Market Is There. The Product Is Something I’m Genuinely Proud Of.
And I’m Still Having The Conversation. Still Waiting On People To Believe In It The Way I Do.
Nobody Tells You This Part Of The Build Is The Slowest. And The Most Humbling.
But I’m In It. And I’m Not Going Anywhere.
Saturday Palms Is Coming. One Way Or Another.

Most People Won’t Do This. Here’s Who Will.
4:30am Gym. 7am Shift. Badge On. Head Down. Home By Four. Laptop Open By Four-Oh-One.
Every Day. Monday Through Friday. No Exceptions. No Complaints.
Most People Are Waiting For The Right Time To Start Building. The Right Circumstances. The Right Energy. The Right Season.
The Person Who Does This Isn’t Waiting For Any Of That. They’re Just Decided.
Decided That The Build Matters Enough To Do It Before Anyone Else Is Awake. Decided That Service Matters Enough To Show Up For It Every Single Day. Decided That Comfort Is The Wrong Thing To Optimize For.
You Can’t Build Something Real On What’s Left Over At The End Of The Day.
You Build It Before The Day Starts. Or You Don’t Build It At All.
Are You Building?
Save This For The Morning You Don’t Feel Like It.

The Courthouse Is Quiet In The Morning. Before The Cases Start. Before The Doors Open. Before Everything That Happens In A Place Like This Actually Happens.
I Walk These Halls Every Day Now. Badge On. Head Down. Doing The Work.
And Then I Go Home. Open The Laptop. Get Back To The Brands.
People Keep Asking Me How I Hold Both Together.
Honestly — They’re Not That Different.
Both Require You To Show Up When You Don’t Feel Like It. Both Require You To Care About Something Bigger Than Yourself. Both Require Discipline Before They Require Anything Else.
The Uniform Changes. The Standard Doesn’t.
Monday.
This Morning I Was Officially Sworn In As A Deputy Constable.
Megan Was There. The Kids Were There. People I Respect Were In That Room.
I’ve Been Building Brands For Over A Decade. I Taught Myself Shopify. I Built A Hotel In Croatia From The Ground Up. I Started Captains & Cowboys To Help Other Founders Do The Same.
And This Morning I Raised My Hand And Swore An Oath To Serve.
None Of It Contradicts The Other. All Of It Is The Same Person.
The Badge Doesn’t Replace The Brand. The Brand Doesn’t Excuse Me From Service.
Both Matter. Both Are Real. Both Require Everything You’ve Got.
This Is What Building A Life Looks Like When You Refuse To Choose Just One Thing To Be.

Sunday On Lake Austin.
No Agenda. No Laptop. Just This.
Tomorrow Is A Big Day For Me. Something I’ve Been Working Toward For A While Now.
But Today Was A Reminder Of What All The Work Is Actually For.
The Kids Don’t Know About Monday. They Just Wanted To Be On The Water.
That’s Probably The Right Idea.
Tomorrow I’ll Tell You About It.

The Exact Order To Build A Brand From Scratch.
Most Founders Start With A Logo. Then A Site. Then Some Photos. Then Wonder Why Nothing Feels Right.
The Order Is The Problem. Not The Work.
Start With Your Point Of View. Who Is This For? What World Does It Live In? What Does It Actually Believe?
Then Build The Visual Identity Around That. Then The Site Around The Identity. Then Shoot Photography Into The World You’ve Already Built.
Every Step Informed By The One Before It. That’s What Makes A Brand Feel Cohesive Instead Of Assembled.
This Is The Framework We Use At Captains & Cowboys On Every Single Build.
Save This. You’ll Need It. And If You Want Someone To Walk You Through It — DM Me. Let’s Build Something Worth Remembering.

This Is Who Saturday Palms Is Designed For.
The Saturday Palms Customer Is Building Something Meaningful — And Dressing Like The Life They’re Working Toward.
Not Someone Who Needs To Be Noticed. Someone Who Already Knows Who They Are.
The Aesthetic Is Warm, Coastal, And Nostalgic — But Each Collection Interprets Summer Differently. Not A Uniform. A Point Of View That Moves With The Season.
This Is What We’re Building. The Brand Is Ready. The Product Is Ready. More Coming Soon.
If This Is Your World — Follow Along. You’re Going To Want To See What’s Next.

Wednesday Looked Like This.
Gym At 4:30. Shift By 7. Badge On. Head Down. Doing The Work That Has Nothing To Do With Branding Or Shopify Or Instagram.
Then Home. Uniform Off. Laptop Open. Back To Captains & Cowboys. Back To Saturday Palms. Back To The Builds.
People Ask Me How I Do Both. Honestly — I’m Not Sure I Know How Not To.
The Deputy Work Grounds Me. The Creative Work Feeds Me. Neither One Makes Sense Without The Other.
This Is Just What A Wednesday Looks Like When You’re Building More Than One Thing That Actually Matters To You.
Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way.
