Things therapy will have you doing:
✔️ Setting boundaries without guilt
✔️ Recognizing your triggers before they control you
✔️ Unlearning what was never yours to carry

In observance of Men's Mental Health Month, here are some quick facts.
Did you know men account for nearly 80% of all su***de deaths in the U.S.? Men are 3.5x more likely to die by su***de than women but are less likely to seek mental health support.
It doesn't have to be this way. Inspired Practice LLC is here to help break the stigma around men's mental health. Behind every statistic is a brother, a father, a friend, a son. asking for help is one of the strongest things they can ever do. You are not a burden. You are needed. You are loved. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call 988 or visit your nearest emergency room.

Mental health support should feel accessible , not like something you have to fight for. Whether you're navigating stress, relationships, or just the weight of everyday life, you don't have to do it alone. We're here for you. 💜

We all have moments where we feel behind, like everyone else has it figured out except us. But comparison has a way of stealing our peace. Remind yourself today that showing up, even imperfectly, is an act of self care. You are doing more than you know. 💜💚

Whether it’s getting enough rest, practicing mindfulness, moving your body, or finding moments of gratitude and connection, every small step matters. These small, intentional habits can create meaningful change over time!🌿💛

Coping skills aren’t about “fixing” yourself.
They’re tools that help you move through hard moments with more support, awareness, and self-compassion.
Some days coping looks like deep breathing, journaling, or taking a walk.
Other days it looks like resting, setting boundaries, or simply making it through the day. Small steps still count.
You don’t have to wait until things get worse to care for your mental health.
Small steps today make big impacts tomorrow.

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers.
Therapy is about creating a space where people feel safe enough to explore the hard questions. 🤍
One thing I’m learning as an intern with Inspired Practice, LLC is that healing often begins in moments of feeling seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Progress doesn’t always look big or dramatic; sometimes it’s showing up, being honest, and taking one small step forward.
Growth takes time, and every step matters.

More than 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men in the United States experience intimate partner violence (IPV). IPV refers to abuse, aggression, or controlling behaviors by a current or former romantic partner. This can include physical, verbal, emotional, economic, or sexual abuse. IPV can have serious effects on both mental and physical health.
If you recognize some of these examples in your own life and would like to learn more, consider looking up the Power and Control Wheel — a tool used to describe common abusive behaviors and tactics experienced by IPV survivors.
If you are experiencing IPV or domestic violence and believe your safety may be at risk, please seek support:

📞 DFPS Texas Abuse Hotline: 800-252-5400
