HKS just updated the Hipermax S. 🇯🇵

The new version is built around what HKS calls its Flat Ride Concept. It takes the edge off small bumps from the first bit of travel, and still keeps the car flat and settled through corners.

What's new:
- A redesigned needle that widens the damping range, with 30 levels of adjustment
- Shot-blasted aluminum upper mounts, pillowball or reinforced rubber depending on the car
- Inverted monotube design on strut cars
- New dust boots and stabilizer links

McLaren is building an SUV. 👀

The company just committed £500 million (roughly $670 million) to its UK operations. That pays for a new assembly plant for a performance SUV, bigger facilities in Woking and South Yorkshire, and the first engines and transmissions McLaren has ever designed and built in-house. It expects to add 1,000 jobs by 2032.

No specs or launch date yet. The new engines are part of McLaren's hybrid plans, so expect the SUV to be a hybrid.
