The band re-united August 2025 to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of that record by performing a few festival dates in Sweden!! Alternative Country Garage Rock Soul

THIS guy is the #1 reason that SHURMAN was able to reunite and go perform in Sweden after a 10+ year hiatus! Björn Pettersson and his wonderful team (family) and Håkan at Rootsy Music reached out and helped us to bring together high school best friends, Aaron Beavers & Damon Allen, band co-founder Rich Mahan, and longtime bassist and songwriter Michael Therieau. The band is only as good as the team behind them and adding in Leif Östling as our tour manager was crucial to this tour’s success. We are forever grateful to these people and can’t wait to get back in the recording studio at the end of the year so we can return to Scandinavia & elsewhere! We are excited for 2026 and hope to see you all soon (we hear AZ in December is nice)…😉

The Swedish tour was full of reconnection and amazing moments that we will never forget (like this photoshoot in Stockholm in the rain with Peter Eriksson). Performing these songs was a true reminder of the joy, love, and connection we have with each other. We are making plans to record new music and to perform together again. In the immortal words of T.S. Eliot, “Every moment is a fresh beginning”.
