I can’t think of a better way to say it than…✨2025 has been a year✨

As a mommy? It’s been absolute joy. It’s been letting go while holding on, it’s been watching G be more independent while loving him with open hands. It’s being there while he still wants mommy to hold him, to be at his school parties, & to listen to him read while we lay by him at bedtime. It’s letting him go when he wants to “not be a baby” and when things I previously helped with, he doesn’t need.

Professionally? This year was for learning hard lessons…while it stretched & grew me as a leader of people & a team I believe in, it also showed me being cautious with trust is necessary. It showed me how critical solid leadership is to creating a healthy culture & a successful business. While work environments don’t always leave room for “feelings”, I learned that hurts can grow strength & discernment, & that trusting your inner voice is invaluable. I’m grateful for skills I acquired, & for a new role that allows me to thrive in my gifts.

As always, the ways the Lord has been faithful through every single moment have been palpable. I turned 40 with minimal celebration, I felt the heaviness of this current country, I saw the weight of the current world on family and friend relationships. I pushed forward. Eric listened, loved, & encouraged me more than ever this past year. And you know what? God was there. He was there in the morning, He was there at night. He was in the small daily moments, and in the big hard decisions. And every day? I was grateful. I’m still grateful, and I will forever be grateful.

Here’s to a new year of knowing we can do hard things, doing the hard things, and living and loving those closest along the way. 🥂🫶🏽❤️

I like to call this Mississippi Magic ✨ A second year of the sweetest moments, sweetest memories, & treasured time spent getting to love on & be loved by this family 🫶🏽🥹 if there’s one thing my heart knows… it’s that God is always writing a story. And even if you don’t know the ending for weeks, or maybe even years & years… I can assure you… He does. And then sometimes? When you least expect it… you get to witness glimmers of joy that can only be a gift from heaven 🫶🏽

S U M M E R is so S W E E T 🥹 We’re crossing off our 2025 summer bucket list items, and G is growing in all the ways. And in the midst, at the same time- I’m grateful that some days, and some times, he still asks for Mommy to hold him 🫶🏽
