Reminding myself how alive and hot I am getting ready for the Ashnikko concert tonight. 😍 I'm so excited to support an artist I love, move my body to some awesome music, and share all of it with my girlfriend. 🥹🥰🥰

Today's intuitive works. The last two I did with my non-dominant hand. I did these to the energy, music, and flow at Eeyore's birthday today. A child complimented the first one I did and I feel very pleased about that.

Today's intuitive artwork was much more colorful than I first thought it would be. I followed my intuition regarding my chronic pain, specifically, tightness and pain that runs the length of the left side from hip to neck.
I think what this says to me is that I'm holding deep grief, old patterns and scars that are deeply embedded into the story of who I am, trauma, anxiety, and confusion. But also that there is lightness and hope. Stay hydrated, remember to breathe, and have faith that what needs released will be in time when I am ready to face it.

Today's intuitive drawing was guided by IFS (internal family systems) work discussed with my therapist. They suggested that parts work could be used for my diabetes and chronic pain. I pulled colors that reminded me of candy, my biggest vice. This exercise certainly helped me understand more about why and provides such a beautiful visual metaphor for how candy feels to me.
I appreciate that I can blend these therapies together for something that is unique to me. Art has always been such a powerful motivator and mode of expression for me.
I'll be finishing this 30x30 for the upcoming show, Blooming Resistance, with .atx at
I definitely am challenging myself with all these rigid lines. 😵💫

The latest intuitive artwork

Today's intuitive work. I started with the multi colored dots overlapping and splattered a bit of isopropyl on them. (See second photo.)
Then I put down the blob like squiggles. Then went over it with acrylic paint pens. The last photo is the back of the piece. Alcohol markers almost always bleed, but they do more so when I put alcohol on the page. You can see where the dots of isopropyl forced the dye farther into the fibers of the page.
