Summer Updates

I cant believe summer is already here, this year has flown by. I do have some things to share with you all.

MASKS ARE OPTIONAL IN THE HALLS
I am fully vaccinated and really enjoy doing hair without the mask on, however I will do what is comfortable for my clients, but you are welcome to take your mask off in my salon. This has been one of the best things to happen this year.

VACATION TIME
I will be out of the salon June 6-12 and July 19-24.

BOOKING UP FAST
Some of you have noticed I am very busy, and you cannot get in my books the same week or day. I suggest that you try and pre-book before you leave from your visit, or book out in advance, it makes both of our lives easier. However you can text me if you can't find a spot, and I will try my best to get you in.

PRICE INCREASE
In July it will be my 12 year anniversary and I will be raising some prices and launching a new website. I have also enjoyed not rushing through appointments with the new salon experience, so with the price increase and some services you will get more time with me. This pandemic has helped me slow down in life and enjoy it. Pretty sure most of you know it is expensive to live in Austin and the prices on everything have gone up. Well that happens for me also, my rent, products, supplies it has all gone up, so it is time to make some changes.

I have some updates

Hey guys,

I hope you are all doing well, this has been a tuff year but it is flying by.

I opened morning hours and I am working Tuesday and some Sundays.

I have successfully seen 700 people plus since I opened May 8th. We all wear wear masks and I am cleaning even more than pre covid.

I am still doing CURBSIDE cuts, mostly in the mornings, you must schedule them with me not online. It must be for 2 or more people, I do this outside at your house for a small travel fee of $25 10 mile radius or higher fee.

Color Kits are still available ($60-$35) if you are still not ready to sit in my newly remodeled salon. You can also pick up a deep conditioner one day pack for $5

I still haven't seen some of you and I want to assure you I am following all protocol and when you get your hair done it makes you feel better, so much better and you can talk to someone other then your spouse, kids or yourself.

Thank you to all the many new clients and thank you for sharing me with your friends, family and page.

I do pick up products weekly and can get pretty much all professional products. This is also supporting small businesses. The holidays are coming let me know what you need and I will have it wrapped and ready if thats what you want.

Curbside cuts are a thing. I know some of you are still scared to come out of the house or into a public place, or just don’t want to bring all the kids out, so I can come to you. You have to text me to set up a house call, I also ask that 2 or more people get cuts and for some shade. It’s best to wash the hair day of your curbside cut or day before for the guys. It’s hot but I do these before in the morning or after my work day in the evening. ($25 added travel fee 10 mile radius)

My salon is also open and it is also very safe, just me and you, no one in the halls, and you wait in your CAR until I am sanitized and ready. Either way you have options and getting your hair done makes you feel great and I miss you guys.

So today my salon got a start of a much need makeover. Waiting for wall paper to come in to finish the look. But new floors the owner of the salons treat and my amazing husband put the floors in. (I see a job in his future) I am excited and in love. Can’t wait to finish. Thank you Matthew McKinney for all your hardwork we make a good team my style and your skills. Also got black out curtain because it hotter then the devil at 4 pm, have the option to open and close them. Thanks Mindy for the magical hem job, let’s hope i don’t change them once the wallpaper is here lol. ( also took temp down about 8 degrees. Matt started at 6 am I rolled in at 11 (lol) home by 8. All in a days work. Still changing some more things;) but off to a great start can’t wait to show you all. Can’t wait for the final reveal, if only I ordered wall paper sooner.

This week was my 5th week open, things are going nice and steady. With that being said I have lots of openings next week. Let me assure you I am following every protocol for being open during a pandemic. If you have concerns and that’s what is keeping you away from my shop then send me a text, we have options;) it’s still hard times for us and many others but we need to support each other to get through this. Hey, guys I totally am missing doing what I love, luckily i have 4 clients I live with and they all want a different service every week,lol.

I can get almost any retail products you need and we can do porch pick up or delivery in my area.

I am also creating custom color kits during the covid lockdown, today I will sell my first two and later today make a small video for the customers that purchase a kit and how to apply. You must sign a waiver before you take your kit we can do it via text or print out.

This kit can also be fashion color (bright color) and or gloss treatment followed by a deep conditioner.

All kits will have gloves, brush and deep conditioner.
