The apple juice imparts a sweet apple flavor throughout the smoothie. Fruit: This smoothie contains a combination of apples, frozen pineapple and frozen banana. You can use sweet or tart apples. I've made it both ways and they're equally delicious

Do you have to add ice? No, ice cubes are not necessary to make a smoothie, as long as you're using frozen fruits. Replace 1:1 ice cubes to frozen fruit is recommended. The ice will create a smooth, thick, chilly texture, or frothy if only a small amount is used.

The afternoon lull. The time between lunch and clocking out that can sometimes feel like it stretches on forever. If you’re someone who needs an afternoon pick-me-up, this smoothie is for you.
Ingredients:
1. ¼ cup of frozen pineapple
2. 1 cup kale or 2 large kale leaves, de-stemmed
3. 1 tbsp of coconut oil
4. ½ avocado
5. 1 cup of water or coconut water (or milk of choice)
6. 1 tsp of matcha green tea powder
