⁣This girl is quite the pavement princess.
Since moving to Texas, my riding skills have improved, which in my forward mind is a blessing, but in my past mind, it brings sadness. I think about all the wonderful fire roads I was too intimidated to ride back in Colorado.
In planning my next trip, I plan to incorporate some dirt. As I plan a trip to Phoenix, it’s taking me through the southern hills of New Mexico and the Eastern hills of Arizona. I recall seeing quite a few of these roads on our trip back in July 2022. However, I was on the , and she sees no dirt.
Keep an eye out for some new bits and content around my ride to Phoenix in Feb 2023.⁣⁣

Excited to take the 2023 Triumph 1200 Rally Explorer and about 2 dozen friends to the Twisted Sisters this weekend.
Austin is expecting temps in the low 50s but Kerrville and south is expecting to stay in the mid 60s, perfect riding weather if you ask me.

It’s been a couple of weeks of traveling and a little rain that has kept me out of the saddle, but today I got ole “Roara The Explorer” out; even if it was just for a simple commute ride.

This was the second Triumph I owned. A 2017 Street Scrambler. Acquired it back while living in Colorado from and sold a few years after getting to Austin. It’s was a great transition bike, and still my absolute favorite color as most of you know.
