Born and raised in Houston, TX, I fell in love with Austin and just had to become a longhorn. After graduating from The University of Texas, I spent a few years down I-35 in San Antonio, but quickly made my way back “home” to Austin. I’ve always been drawn to helping others and quickly learned that I have a passion for cultivating relationships and doing the most for others.
 
This prompted my career shift to Real Estate where I am able to make a lasting impact in other’s lives. When I’m not helping you find your dream home or listing your current one you can find me at any live sporting event, out on Lake Travis with my friends, or curled up reading a new book!

After living in Austin for a little over four years, Miranda found a love for the central northwestern area of Austin, primarily focusing on the 78757 and surrounding zip codes. Since joining Local Life, Miranda has truly honed in on her craft, and showed extreme dedication to her clients. In 2023, Miranda won the Local Life Newcomer of the Year award - a testament to her results-driven approach.

I moved to Austin in the summer of 2008. Davey and I bought our first house in University Hills in the spring of 2009 and have been on the east side ever since. Last year we moved into a house that Davey designed and I built, on east 12th Street. My ideal house is a mix of modern and mid century, which I think we successfully achieved with clean exterior lines and fun vibrant interiors. The home and neighborhood is perfect for us and our little rescue pup Harriette. We can walk to many of our favorite spots in town like Nixta or the wine bar Cork and Screw. We are also close to some of our favorite restaurants like Canje, for delish spicy jerk chicken and Vic and Al’s, for the best gumbo in town. The east side is definitely where we would like to continue to live, design and build.

When we’re not working we like taking the dog on outdoor adventures at some of the many parks, swimming holes and trails in the greater Austin area.

Having called Austin home for a year and a half, she’s discovered a love for the East side along with the Oak Hill area, where she resides.

Ashley keeps it simple when it comes to her favorite spots. Ember Kitchen is her go to when she’s in the mood for a nice meal, but most days you’ll find her opting for a casual coffee outing at Stouthaus. An iced coffee will forever be the way to her heart.

Her architectural taste mirrors her coastal roots, with a soft spot for the coastal style homes that remind her of growing up near the Jersey beaches.
