The trail is no longer accessible to the public.

A scene from a dystopian movie but in reality this is a homeless camp in Austin Texas.
Bouldin Creek Greenbelt about a month ago. This is what is happening to our green spaces everywhere and it should make everyone very angry.
Not one enviro group will acknowledge this is happening, politicians seem to not care.
I am challenging every environmental group, every group who is in the business of helping the homeless to come tour these greenbelts with me.
Contact me, you will be safe. Let me take you out so you can see it, feel it and smell it. You will not understand until you do.

Detailed Update on Shane James Spree Murder - Austin Texas Dec 5th 2023
James was arrested in Jan 2022 for misdemeanor family assault charges, his victims where his 2 parents and a sibling. Bexar County Sheriff said the family doesn't want him in jail, he has mental health issues. They wanted to help him, extremely sad.
James was bonded out of jail by the Texas Organizing Project on March 7th 2022 he then cut his ankle monitor off sometime the next day March 8th. He had a recent run in with police in August 2023 when Bexar County Sheriff got a call for a mental health episode James’s home on Port Royal in SA.
James killed his 2 parents in this home. His parents are mother Phyllis James and Shane Matthew James Sr.
James served in the US Army from 2013 to 2015 where he was discharged for a domestic violence incident. He worked at 2 shooting ranges in the San Antonio area. My friend worked at one range at the time James was there.
Dec 5th Timeline
James parents were killed - Between 10 PM Monday evening and 9AM Tuesday morning. They were not discovered until James was arrested Tuesday night.
10:43 AM - AISD Seargent Val Barnes was shot in the leg. Sgt Barnes has served with AISD police for 29 years. He is ok.
11:59 AM - Police received many 911 calls about a shooting on Shadywood Drive. James shot and killed Emmanuel Pop Ba and Sabrina Rahman. Mrs. Rahman had her 1 year old in a stroller, the baby was not hurt.
4:57 PM - Police received a 911 call about a cyclist shot on West Slaughter lane. He was shot in the left arm and will be ok.
6:48 PM - police receive 911 call about a burglary in progress on Austral Loop.
6:54 PM - Officers arrived at Austral and found James in the backyard. He opened fire immediately. Officers fired back at James. APD officer was shot, he is ok. Police found 2 victims in the house. Lauren Short, 30 and her mother Katherine Short, 56 were shot and killed. Lauren is a special needs person and was living at home.
7:14 PM - James led a police chase were he crashed at SH 45 and FM 1826, he was arrested.
7:45 PM - APD contacted Bexar County Sheriff to tell them of the attacks and notifying them he had ties to the home on Port Royal. Police went to the home and found water coming from under the door. They forced entry and found the parents. The Sheriff called the scene grizzly.

***Wayne Rudd, Austin Texas And Damn Proud Of It!***
Do you recognize this man?
He was found December of 96 in a pasture in northern Tom Green County near the northeast bank of O.C. Fisher Lake. This is in San Angelo. Police think he died in November of 96.
Age 38 - 50, 5-feet-10 with a slight build medium brown hair, maybe more red.
Police do have a DNA profile but have no match at this time. He is believed to be homeless and from the Austin area.
Found with the body was white socks, 7 ½ Brahma hiking boots, a pair of light blue Levi’s with a button fly size 31-34, an open package of GPC smokes, a green backpack that contained cans of Cougar s***f.
Written in dark marker on the upper flap were the words "Wayne Rudd, Austin TX and Damn Proud of It!"

For all of my new followers and the existing ones as well. I want to help you understand the magnitude of the situation with the number of homeless and the number of camps in Austin.
This is a snap of my working map. Every pin is an active camp I have documented. Hundreds of camps, thousands of people.
We have to do better getting folks into housing and the camps closed.
There are needles in just about every park and greenbelt in Austin.
Please be careful, keep your children close.
