I sewed up these skirts for my daughter’s end of the year luau party last week. She didn’t know I made a matching one for me until I showed up!

Lunar New Year customs are so dear to my heart and I love making them. This year, I made the bias tape (the red trim) so that the color matching to the frog buttons would be spot on. It’s the details like this that make handmade items just a little extra special, and I enjoy the process of turning a pile of fabric into something wearable. Every single custom is made with so much love. And I’m so excited to send off this sibling set so they can celebrate Lunar New Year in style! 🐉🧧
