.weld is launching ✨ 4 locations today…it’s been a wild ride with lots of having to have faith, counsel, countless times asking for to pray for me, and amazing friends and family that went all in to help me launch this business. .macelroy

Love Weld Origin story: (where do I even begin?) When pregnant with Margot I started having dreams that it was time to leave the job I loved (God has often talked to me about my career in dreams) I remember being so frightened by that prospect, but excited for another Jesus adventure. Fast forward 6 months…I bought my first welding machine and dreamed up with Drake the brand Love Weld—at that time only welded jewelry was in Brooklyn and I new it needed to be a full on focus for a brand. I became obsessed. I loved the idea of having that brand celebrate the special ❤️ bonds in life and being a business of connection.

I remember telling drake if I could just sell 50 bracelets I could make up for the investment—that number felt so big then. Love Weld has done over a million in sales since it’s launch in 2020 and I now have a team of 20+ love welders.

I share this to celebrate, but also to give testimony and thanks to God. It sounds cliche—but he gets the glory here. In college I left architecture school because I felt God was asking me too. It felt at the time extremely scary, and then the next 10 years was him asking me time and time again to step out in faith—change direction or take a bigger risk. Over time, as I learned of his love for me that fear faded and in turn my faith grew. Not because I became more spiritual—id say I look a lot less”religious” these days—but because he always showed up. At times miraculously.

Love Weld is not mine—it never has been. I’m grateful that God has given me a chapter where a decade of stepping out in faith, feeling in the dark now makes so much sense, I’m glad my life isn’t what I planned. There still are very human moments—fears of the outcomes—but I’m Loved deeply and right now I get to own a business that gets to spread the love.

It’s a great space and has great natural light. It would be great for a working space or creative. My .weld photoshoot was done completely out of this space. I share half with and have ~500 sq feet

Greetings from NM! Can anyone tell me what tree is in my back yard (swipe--> ). It's really cool with a black trunk and red leaves, my TX go to flora/fauna experts are stumped.

It's been awhile since I've posted. Sarah Sides Co. has definitely been neglected as our family made the big move from Austin to Albuquerque. Outside of missing all our wonderful friends & family like crazy--we are settling just nicely amidst the mountain views and cooler climate.

Lots of hikes, walks, eating super spicy food and exploring this new home.
