I’ve been so busy and blessed to be on the grant making side of the nonprofit world , and additionally prepping to start law school in the fall. Unfortunately I cannot consult at the capacity I used to. Some of my clients have expressed interest in me training an administrative assistant to handle their day- to- day nonprofit affairs, as long as that person can meet with me 2-3x / week. Curious to hear your thoughts ?

Everyone says I don’t post enough so here’s a few updates…

1. Starting in October I will be taking a full time position managing the annual grants process at Hoffberger Family Philanthropies. This Foundation is focused on funding workforce development and economic mobility as well as the mental health wellbeing of children and families in Greater Baltimore.

2. We are moving/expanding . Just one year after inception, we are moving from a 3-4 family unit, to a home that can host up to 11 families. (Mother and child)

3. Ant & I both start our Business Masters program at UMBC in the spring.

God has been so good to my family. We went from teen parents to six figure earners this year ♥️♥️♥️ If we loss touch this year, I’m sorry…it’s because I’ve been working hard! photo cred my hubby

This weekend I had the opportunity to speak at the Annual Conference that my good girl friend and board member Gilly put together for our community. The way she puts together her sponsorships for this event- I can’t wait for masterclass! 💥 Never underestimate having friends that push you to the next level. Did I tell you guys I took a summer position at Maryland Association for Nonprofits? I’m working with Program Director to develop the final steps for their new Nonprofit Standards for Excellence program through a JDEI (Justice, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) lense. MD Nonprofits home base is MD but our Standards for Excellence program is duplicated by many state association partners across the US. Reach out to me for more info on how to get connected!

Anyway, this convention was my friendly reminder to keep going. This journey hasn’t been easy (what SUCCESSFUL entrepreneurial journey is?) but I have been blessed with a vast network of people/resources that I would never have access to if I gave up when things got tough! Remember, your network is your net worth ✨
