ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming has surpassed Mukesh Ambani to become Asia’s second-richest person.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zhang’s net worth has risen to $92.8 billion, making him the richest person in China.
His wealth has increased dramatically from around $13 billion in March 2019 to nearly $93 billion today.
The rise is largely linked to the growing valuation of ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, and its expanding investments in artificial intelligence.
Analysts say the surge reflects strong investor confidence in ByteDance’s business performance and future AI ambitions.
Zhang’s rapid rise in the billionaire rankings highlights the growing influence of AI and technology companies in shaping global wealth.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has unveiled the new RTX Spark chip, a powerful combined CPU and GPU designed for the next generation of Windows PCs.
The chip is built especially for running AI agents and advanced artificial intelligence tasks directly on personal computers.
Jensen Huang called it “the most efficient PC chip ever built” and said AI-focused PCs could completely change the future of personal computing.
The flagship RTX Spark reportedly comes with 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores, and 128GB of unified memory.
It can also reportedly run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, making it extremely powerful for AI workloads.
Major PC makers including Asus, Dell, Lenovo, HP, MSI, and Microsoft are expected to launch devices powered by the new chip.

ChatGPT has reportedly become the fastest app ever to reach 1 billion monthly active users worldwide.
According to estimates from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower, the milestone was reached in May.
The report says ChatGPT achieved this growth around three years after its mobile launch.
This makes its growth faster than major platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Maps.
However, OpenAI has not officially confirmed the 1 billion monthly active users figure.
ChatGPT first launched on iOS in 2023 and later expanded to Android, which helped it reach more users globally.
The rapid growth shows how quickly AI tools are becoming part of daily life, work, education, and business.
It also highlights the growing competition in the AI industry as companies invest heavily in new AI products and services.

Former CIA remote viewer Lyn Buchanan has claimed that the Stargate Project identified four alleged alien bases on Earth.
Speaking on the American Alchemy podcast, Buchanan said the reported locations were Mount Hayes in Alaska, Mount Zeil in Australia, Mount Nyangani in Zimbabwe, and a site in the Pyrenees Mountains between Spain and France.
He claimed that each location allegedly had a different purpose, including intelligence gathering, UFO arrivals, and repairs of extraterrestrial craft.
Buchanan also said that other remote viewers before him, including Pat Price and Joe McMoneagle, reported seeing humans and aliens working together at some of these sites.
According to Buchanan, the Mount Hayes facility appeared to be hidden deep inside the mountain and was operating automatically.
However, no verified evidence has been presented to confirm these claims.

Donald Trump has shared a “Trump 007” meme on Truth Social, showing himself in a James Bond-style theme.
The post featured an old photo of Trump standing in front of a mirror, presenting himself like the famous fictional spy.
The post comes at a time when Amazon MGM is reportedly searching for the next James Bond.
Names like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Tom Holland, Harris Dickinson, Jacob Elordi, and Callum Turner have been mentioned among possible contenders.
Trump has previously compared himself to famous figures through social media posts, including Elvis Presley, Winston Churchill, and Jesus Christ.
In May, the White House also shared a James Bond-themed image of Trump wearing a tuxedo and holding a silenced pistol with the “Make America Great Again” slogan.
Trump later posted another image of himself in front of a rally crowd and described himself as “The Greatest Attraction.”

New research from Germany’s Karlsruhe Institute of Technology has raised serious privacy concerns about normal Wi-Fi routers.
The study found that standard Wi-Fi routers can identify people inside a home with up to 99.5% accuracy.
Researchers used machine learning to study Wi-Fi signal data called beamforming feedback information, or BFI.
This data helps routers direct signals toward connected devices, but it can also be affected by human movement inside a room.
Because people’s bodies change and distort Wi-Fi signals as they move, researchers were able to use those signal patterns to identify different individuals.
The most concerning part is that the system did not need to connect to the target Wi-Fi network.
Researchers said this could turn normal home routers into passive sensing devices that may detect movement and identity through walls.

Malaysia has started enforcing a countrywide restriction that prevents children under 16 from creating social media accounts.
The new rule is aimed at protecting minors from harmful online content, cyberbullying, scams, online predators, and the negative effects of excessive social media use.
Under the regulation, major platforms will be required to verify users’ ages and stop children under 16 from opening new accounts.
Reports say the rule applies to large platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Authorities say the purpose is not to block technology, but to make the online space safer for children and young users.
However, the move has also sparked debate, with some people supporting stronger child protection and others raising concerns about privacy, digital access, and age-verification systems.

United Airlines Flight 236 from Newark to Palma de Mallorca had to make a mid-air U-turn after a suspicious Bluetooth device name caused a security scare.
The Boeing 767 was around 90 minutes into the flight when crew members asked passengers to switch off their Bluetooth devices.
According to reports, a passenger noticed a discoverable Bluetooth network named “BOMB” and alerted the crew.
