This lamp shade was repaired recently. Unusual in it's design and construction, each piece is cut and then placed on a form and cemented to hold the pieces and it's shape. Repairs included replacing a missing piece and reinforcing areas that had become unstable. Most stained glass lamp shades are constructed using copper foil, lead or kiln formed glass panels held together by pot metal tabs or brass rails. This beauty measures 17 inches diameter and 12 inches in height.
