Dixie is a playful, sweet, & silly little girl. She is happy to show off her kittentude while she's playing. When she's comfortable in her surroundings, Dixie becomes outgoing and playful.

Dixie might be shy around new people until she warms up to them.

Hi there, I'm Clementine & I would love to let you know about me. Full disclosure, I will need time to decompress in my new home & to get to know (aka TRUST) my humans. After I am used to my people, I absolutely ADORE having my face scrunched while I hear about your day or what a pretty girl I am. You'll know when I'm ready for full contact face scrunching because I'll start laying next you & hang out.

I am not a fan of loud, busy homes, and would be happiest in a quieter environment where I can feel calm & safe. I would be ok with older children who will respect me and not have grabby hands (I know it's tempting for them since I'm a cute black floof of fur, but it's scary for me)

Until I get comfortable in my new home, I will most likely sing the song of my people and tell stories in my native tongue. After I decompress and get more used to everything, this will subside and I will feel confident that you listened to my stories thoroughly, so I can stop repeating them.

My origin story is not the best. I was adopted as a kitten & had a home. I don't understand why, but that human tossed me out into the Denver streets to fend for myself. (did I do something wrong? I just don't know) A kind woman started feeding me and contacted this rescue. I was trapped and put in a safe home where I was given yummy food and lots of time to decompress and start to show a very sweet, playful side of my personality. This is why I will need time to trust my new family and to be able to take my time so that I can feel safe and show off the real Clementine.

Nibbler is an 18 year old gentlemen who still has some friskiness displayed during playing. He is generally mild mannered but will signal if he's feeling flustered to allow some time to back off. Nibbler currently has access to outdoors, but generally only goes out once a day when it's warm. Nibbler would be happiest as single pet in a quiet household with someone around occasionally during the day.

Nibbler enjoys his heating pad, daily playtime, some gentle cuddling, face scratches, access to outdoors (a catio could be a great option), treats, and his Fancy Feast. Although he is affectionate to people once he knows them, Nibbler is skittish until he feels comfortable with new people.

If Nibbler is stressed, this can present by not using the litterbox appropriately, typically a short-term reaction. Nibbler does display other senior cat behaviors such as occasional throwing up and howling for attention during the night. A quick cuddle and a treat seems to adequately address the latter. His current family has found Nibbler does best with an overnight house-sitter when it's necessary be away from the house.

Greetings! I'm Nala, I would be so happy to get to tell you about my brother, Simba, and me. We are a bonded pair of middle-aged/older kitties who are looking for our happily ever after home. I'm a good kitty and enjoy having a quieter life. We are not looking for extravagance at this point in life and would very much enjoy a nice home with warm beds and a kind human. We are great kitties and still have a lot of life to live and love to give.
