Does your differential make noise? Do you hear axle noise? Typical Symptoms:
1. Front axle or Rear End Whining or howling
Typically changes tone when vehicle accelerates or decelerates. Usually pinion bearing or ring and pinion issue.
2. Front axle or Rear End Low growling or rumble. Continuous sound. Increases with speed. Typical cause is carrier bearing or axle bearing issue.
