The FINAL wedding. Randy and I had a great time at the Turner Club last night celebrating with the Reder family. Congrats to Danielle and Gabriel! Robin did a great job leading the Chicken Dance. It certainly has been a fun time doing weddings since 1981, but that's all folks!

First I need to apologize to my friends, family, and past customers whose events I turned down. Two recent requests temporarily brought me out of retirement. One was last night at the EAHS Class Of '68 Reunion and the other is a final Reder Family wedding. So we bought some insurance and dusted off the equipment and had a great time. Looking forward to doing one final wedding!

Still retired and enjoying being a Grandpa to 4 wonderful kids. I just saw that Gaslite Manor has closed to make way for Hollywood Casino. What great memories. We played at 198 parties and weddings over 4 decades. We worked with three owners, Mrs. M, the McCue family and finally George. I'm sure all of our DJ's have special moments they remember. My favorite was the night Lin and I were carrying out the rack and a busboy was stationed by the back door. Lin's comment, "Are you watching for Mrs. M. so we don't steal any toilet paper?" A voice came from behind Lin, "Yes, that's why I have him there!" Priceless!!!

Creative DJ’s is no longer accepting bookings. After over 3,400 weddings and parties, it is time for me to retire. I would like to thank everyone who hired us and especially all of the DJ’s who worked with us over the years. The most fun we have at weddings is when it involves former students and friends from St. Charles. Congrats to Katie and Brian and good luck. Reo and I ran into a couple of GREAT DJ's in the crowd. Thank you Dan and Alex for your help and for keeping the party going!

Brad and I had a great time at Danielle and Andy's wedding last night at Ashley Farms. Most of the guys still showed good moves on the dance floor when the Backstreet Boys were played. Always fun seeing a lot of former students.

Emily and Justin had a fun reception at Riverside Receptions in Geneva. Reo and I had the group rocking to "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit. Dad also led the group in an old fashioned version of "Shout".
