We are a UMC that seeks to nourish the sacred relationship between the Creator and all creation.

The Land is located on the unceded ancestral lands of the Cheyenn and Arapaho people of present-day Arapahoe County. The human community gathering on this sacred land strives to deepen relationships with all of creation. On The Land we gather to conserve the prairie, grow food, decolonialize worship, teach children and engage youth in ecospiritual formation.

Some interesting learning opportunities in July and August for UMC clergy and laity. Some interesting learning opportunities, including about current events like affordable housing issues and learnings about our current political context. There will also be ministry-specific courses like preaching, the None's and Done's, and Church Administration. There may be scholarships available through Mountain Sjy Conference.

This summer, Mountain Sky Conference leaders have a meaningful opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others across the Western Jurisdiction.
Lay members, clergy, church staff, and ministry teams are invited to take part in a summer series of online continuing education courses offered by leaders across the Western Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church. Courses will be held in July and August via Zoom, with options ranging from one to five weeks and most meeting in the evenings.
The 12-course lineup includes learning opportunities in beloved community, church administration, outreach, congregational vitality, and more. Highlighted offerings include:
• Building Beloved Community: The Courage to Love in the Face of Tyranny
• The Fundamentals of Church Administration
• An Integrated System Approach to Outreach, designed for church teams of three to five people
For churches across the Mountain Sky Conference, this is a great way to strengthen practical ministry skills, learn alongside others across the connection, and bring new tools for faithful leadership back to your local congregation and community.

Saturday service: Songs of Worship and Resistance

Photos from The Land's post 05/28/2026

Join us this Saturday, May 30th at 10:00 for a morning of Holy Resistance. Using a combination of Biblical stories and modern freedom songs, we will connect the dots between movements for liberation then and now. Let us sing our praises and uphold the dignity of all who are created in God’s image.

Come sing with us!
