Mosquitoes near the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds have tested positive for West Nile virus. Humans, birds, horses and other mammals can be exposed to the virus via a bite from an infected mosquito.

You can take these steps take to limit exposure:
• Wear DEET-containing insect repellant
• Stay indoors at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active
• Wear long clothes to protect against mosquitos
• Drain standing water sources
