We celebrate 100 years of Dr. Carter G. Woodson's work today! A brilliant scholar, author, educator, and more - he is known as the Father of Black History.
In February of 1926, he began a "Negro History Week", which has expanded to our current Black History Month.

Ever the consummate historian, Woodson's wish was for all history to be incorporated seamlessly. While we aim to fulfill that vision, we will also use this month to highlight many awesome Black Americans of the past and present!
