Colton Ballet School offers classes for dancers ages 4 and up, with professional instruction focused on ballet as an art form. Founded from the shared vision of Ron and Zanne Colton, students train with experienced and gifted teachers using a graded ballet syllabus designed to nurture young artists at every level.

Colton Ballet School’s Primary Division begins at age 4, introducing young dancers to music and movement through creative play, motor development, and exploration.
Our pre-ballet program builds on this foundation, teaching classroom structure, proper etiquette, and the basics of classical ballet, including steps, terminology, and theory.
It’s so fun to see how much these students learn and grow in the course of a school year!

Adult Ballet at Colton Ballet School!
A relaxed, contemporary ballet class designed to help you rediscover your love for dance.
Set to today’s music and rooted in a supportive, low-pressure environment, this class is less about strict technique and more about the joy of movement. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with your body, your musicality, and the simple pleasure of dancing.
This class is best suited for adults with some prior ballet experience, from childhood training or a general familiarity with ballet vocabulary. You’ll be guided through thoughtful, accessible exercises that build strength and confidence while honoring where you are today.
Led by Caitlin Phibbs, Artistic Director of Colton Ballet Company, each class blends classical foundations with a modern, approachable style.
Come as you are and find your way back to dance.

Colton Ballet Company Open Auditions:
▫️Sunday, May 17
▫️2-5pm at Colton Ballet School
▫️Ballet class + pointe work
▫️wear black leotard and pink tights
▫️Current Colton ballet school students must have completed a full year in advanced technique and pointe prior to auditioning.
▫️open to non-Colton ballet students with advanced ballet/pointe training. Ages 14-adults
What to expect as a company member:
▫️10 hours of required training per week including ballet technique, pointe, modern, and strength.
▫️pre-professional level ballet and modern training and mentoring.
▫️opportunities to perform in two full length productions, including The Nutcracker. Additional community outreach and performance opportunities are also possible.
