So happy and beyond grateful for the ability to create magical moments for my family… whether it’s Christmas, birthdays, etc, you name it and I want to make it as special as possible. Thankful that my mom didn’t sell her house as planned earlier this year and thus we could wake to another sweet Christmas morning at her cozy home this year for our boys. Wishing everyone a blessed last few days of the year and praying for the world’s turmoil and challenges we face. 🤍🤍🤍

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! ❤️
Remember to take some time to take a break for yourself this holiday season and know it’s OK to drop some things off the to-do list to make it easier on yourself! When there’s already soooo much to take care of on a daily basis and then try to make magical memories for your family, you are not alone even if you feel like you are leading the charge at home. Even if you only see this support here… just take a deep breath and as my late grandmother would advise just “persevere”! ✨ You got this! Enjoy the season and find joy this holiday.
To all our friends and family: I didn’t leave you off our list, I just opted out of sending Christmas cards this year. I had to spend my energy elsewhere… so I’m sharing this pic from taking the boys to see Santa instead along with a few other spirited pics. Thanks for all the beautiful cards we’ve received from everyone else… I’ll try again next year! 😅😉😘

On Thursday, April 20th we welcomed Logan’s little brother, Matthew Morgan Vayda, into the world and officially became a family of four!
Matthew weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz & 20.5” tall. With my Dr’s support, I was praying we could do a VBAC but after laboring for over 28 hours, we had to have an unplanned c-section. Matthew spent his first night in the NICU for breathing issues and joined us for recovery the next morning. Despite the change in our delivery plans, we couldn’t be happier that our boy is here and healthy!
We were discharged on Sunday and it was amazing to see how much love Logan had upon meeting his little brother! Literally brought tears to my already emotional eyes!! Unfortunately, my blood pressure was too high the next day and I was readmitted to the ER on Monday night for preeclampsia. The treatment was incredibly difficult to endure but after two more nights in the hospital, I am finally home recovering from both the c-section and preeclampsia.
After going through IVF and a challenging pregnancy, it was a tough week mentally and physically to get through when things didn’t go as I would have hoped, but I’m finally on the other side with a beautiful baby boy snuggled in my arms. 💙 So here’s your reminder that although things don’t always go as planned, you can always look on the bright side, stay focused on what matters (for me it was/is getting myself healthy for my family), & trying not stress over the things we can’t control. 💙💙💙

Happy Friday Y’all! I can’t believe how fast time flies when we were picking pumpkins in the heat of this same weekend a year ago exactly now! 🧡 Loving that this year we’ve officially got Fall sweater weather in full gear though. 🙋♀️ Who’s with me?

We had a blast at the pumpkin patch the other weekend when visiting Boston and couldn’t have asked for better weather! It was a crisp fall day… and apparently we brought that back to ATL because today was a chilly high of 50🥶 So happy for the memories with family. Hopefully we can do a little apple picking next year too!

We’re doing a small family thing at home for Mother’s Day tomorrow so we can make sure our son is 💯 cleared from getting anyone in our family sick, but my mom did visit last night for my birthday. We had the best time lounging this morning and then going treasure hunting this afternoon at some local thrift stores! 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This sweet place setting photo is an oldie but a goodie from a Mother’s Day Tea that I styled using some of my grandmothers everyday chinaware that she passed down to me among other things when she downsized. It was such a fun color scheme and I felt like the quilted placemats were the perfect pair.

Mixing new and old is one of my favorite ways to design so while I went looking for two nightstands (without any luck), I’m overjoyed with the two dressers I found today. They are very similar in style, but I fell in love with both and they were really great deals! They are going to live in separate areas of the house so it wont be too much on their similarity in one space.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We explored a few new areas of West Georgia and were rewarded with the brown dresser at a thrift store in Powder Springs and the blue dresser in Hiram.

We had the sweetest family session with this spring and I’m so happy we snagged some beautiful photos to capture Logan at this precious stage. His little blond curls are often out of control and I just love it. 💙 Finally feeling in the mood to start blogging more and doing a bit more outside of raising Logan and my full time corporate job, so I’m excited to share some content I’ve been sitting on the last year (or so)! I hope you’ll like it! 😘
