Augusta Transit adjusts routes, schedules during Masters week traffic Tournament week traffic is forcing Augusta Transit to adjust bus routes and schedules as lane closures on Washington Road create delays for riders.

Augusta, Georgia Government to Host SPLOST 9 and FLOST Information Sessions • Augusta AUGUSTA, GA (April 7, 2026) – Augusta, Georgia, Government will host a series of public information sessions to provide residents with information regarding the proposed SPLOST 9 and Floating Local Option Sales Tax (FLOST) ahead of the May 19, 2026, referendum.

If you are flying out of Augusta Regional Airport this is what you will experience on your way to the departure area during Masters week.

Augusta Transit rolls out some changes for tournament week Augusta Transit plans a few changes during Masters week, rerouting the Route 5 Green Line/Washington Road route line a high-traffic area.

Request stops to become effective April 1, 2026. Riders waiting at these stops need to call 706.821.1716 and inform the Customer Service representative. The next scheduled bus on the route will serve this stop and pick up any passengers waiting. A sign designating a Request Stop will be clearly posted at the stop.

Requests Stops on Route #3 Gold Line/East Augusta

Introduction of request stops will allow for faster and more efficient bus service. Please note unless a request is made to stop scheduled buses will not serve the Request Stop.
