Falling in love with your word again doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like staying. Like listening. Like being transformed quietly. Like letting God renew your mind before He expands your reach.
Psalm 91 reminds us that protection flows from abiding. Ministry flows from intimacy. And transformation happens when we stop trying to control the moment and simply dwell with Him.
God doesn’t rush formation. He honors it.
Funny how I could grow food for the world before I learned how to grow something that purifies my own air.
Here’s to tending to both in 2026.
This ladies night was a reminder that
sisterhood is necessary and celebration
does not have to be loud to be meaningful.
There’s something powerful about being
surrounded by women who truly see you.
Tonight was about honoring what 2025
has been and naming the theme we are
stepping into for 2026.
We laughed.
We cried.
We bonded.
We encouraged one another through our
stories.
Be intentional about connecting with your
womanhood. It matters more than we
realize.

This season has come to a close, and so has a chapter of growth. What remains is clarity.
God has been faithful in shaping not just the work, but the woman leading it. I step forward rooted, confident, and fully aware of what has been entrusted to me.
As Founder and Executive Director of Black Farm Street Inc, I’m entering 2026 steady, prepared, and ready to walk in what’s been assigned.
People often ask me about green thumbs, or why they feel like theirs are black or purple. Growth always starts with the foundation. You have to check your soil. Where it stands will determine what it can produce.
We are all called to plant. We are also all called to water and nurture, sometimes by our own hands and sometimes by allowing others to pour in. But it is God who ultimately makes it grow.
So keep planting. Keep nurturing. Trust the process and give God room to do what only He can do.
Be Thankful for Life… for Presence.
Joshua 1 teaches us that God speaks before movement.
Be strong.
Be courageous.
And be ready to move.
Strength is not hype.
It is spiritual stamina.
Courage is not emotion.
It is heart-level resolve.
Before Joshua crosses the Jordan, God anchors him in obedience because obedience stabilizes courage.
The land was already promised but
Joshua still had to move beyond the Jordan River.
I said all that to say, If God sent you..
Don’t delay.
Don’t loosen your grip.
Move when He says go.

Hunting has taught me that discipline is not optional.
You prepare long before the moment arrives.
You rise early. You move with intention.
You learn restraint. Silence. Precision.
You wait without forcing outcomes.
And when the moment comes, the work is not over.
There is responsibility attached to what you pursue.
Care. Process. Patience. Follow through.
Nothing about it is casual.
Nothing is accidental.
The reward is not just the outcome. It is the readiness required to handle it.
That lesson applies far beyond the field.
Any calling worth stewarding demands the same level of respect.
Preparation. Commitment. Accountability. Completion.
It is about being equipped… Be ready In and Out of Season.
I am realizing that my identity was never meant to fit into one box.
My roles are not separate. They are layered assignments that work together.
The mother in me teaches a love for patience.
The minister in me teaches truth.
The farmer in me teaches resilience and stewardship.
The chef in me teaches discipline and creativity working as one.
The leader in me teaches courage anchored in steadiness.
The woman in me carries it all with grace.
All of this reminds me that I am not becoming one thing. I am becoming the whole woman God designed.
There is a moment in growth when you become aware of yourself again. Aware of what God is awakening in you and the quiet ways He has been reshaping your heart.
As I slow down and sit with God, I feel that awareness settling in even more. I can sense His presence in the stillness, in my breath, and in the gentle ways He restores my strength. The shifts are subtle but clear… a new kind of knowing.
Awareness is a gift. It shows you the woman you are rising into one layer at a time, renewed and strengthened from the inside out.

Welcome to All Things Lashawndra.
This season feels different. Softer. Brighter. More intentional.
I’ve grown through enough to finally stand in a space that holds all the parts of me. My faith. My womanhood. My voice. My purpose. And the quiet work God keeps doing in my heart.
For years, I poured myself into different lanes. Chef Shawn. Black Farm Street. I Am She, She Is Me. Ministry. Motherhood. Leadership. Healing. Becoming.
Now all of me gets to live in one place.
Here, you’ll find faith you can feel, clarity you can walk in, conversations that strengthen your spirit, womanhood in its fullness, and the gentle reminder that you’re allowed to rebuild, rise, and grow at your own pace.
This is my offering to those who are evolving, healing, and becoming the version of themselves God always saw.
Thank you for being here.
Let’s elevate in love.

Tune-up Tuesday
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all; pure, then, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of Mercy, and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.
