🚜 Help Us Equip Men for Work 🚜

At Augusta Rescue Mission, we don’t just provide shelter—we help men rebuild their lives.

One of the key ways we do this is through job readiness and hands-on work training as part of our Life Transformation Program.

Right now, our men are learning valuable skills in landscaping and lawn care, preparing them for real employment opportunities.

We have a need—and you can make a direct impact.

We are currently seeking a donation of:
👉 1–2 used riding lawnmowers (zero-turn preferred)
👉 Units should be in good working condition, even if older

These mowers will be used daily for:
✅ Training men in practical, employable skills
✅ Maintaining our property and work sites
✅ Building confidence, responsibility, and a strong work ethic

There’s truly no better way to help someone get back on their feet than by equipping them with the tools to work.

If you or someone you know can help, please reach out:
📧 [email protected]
📞 706-722-2058 ext. 5

Thank you for partnering with us to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to the men we serve.

Augusta Rescue Mission had the privilege to join a great group of ministires local and global at Warren Church’s Mission Fair this morning!

It’s tremendous to see all the impact these ministires make on individuals’ lives around the world.

Today at Augusta Rescue Mission, we were blessed to gather for a special Good Friday chapel service, sharing a meaningful time of worship and reflection together. After chapel, our guests enjoyed a warm Easter meal and received essential resources—practical reminders that they are seen, valued, and loved.

As Scripture reminds us:
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”— 1 Peter 2:24

Days like today reflect the heart of Good Friday—sacrifice, compassion, and hope made real through love in action.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers, friends, and supporters who gave their time and hearts to serve alongside us. Thank you for showing up and helping make this day so meaningful for the men we serve. Your generosity and faith truly make a difference.

If you’d like to be part of moments like these, we invite you to pray for our ministry, volunteer, or support Augusta Rescue Mission as we continue serving our neighbors with Christ-centered care and dignity.

From all of us at Augusta Rescue Mission—thank you.

❄️ A Winter Cold Front Is Coming — And We’re Here for Our Community ❄️

As extreme temperatures move into Augusta this week, the Augusta Rescue Mission is working hard to ensure that the homeless men in our community have a safe, warm, and caring place to stay.

Although we are allowing checked-in guests to shelter-in-place over the next few days, our check‑in protocols remain the same —
🕢 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM nightly
📄 Shelter clearance required

But we want our community to know that we are fully prepared to welcome and serve as many men as possible during this dangerous cold snap. At our shelter, guests will receive:
✔️ Warm beds
✔️ Hot meals
✔️ Showers
✔️ Laundry services
✔️ Any resources we have available to support their well‑being

🤝 How You Can Help
If you feel led to support, we would be grateful for the following donations between now and Friday afternoon:

🧥 Winter coats & jackets
🛌 Sleeping bags

Drop‑offs can be made at:
📍 526 Walker Street, Augusta, GA 30901

If you prefer to make a financial contribution, gifts can be made securely at:

Thank you, Augusta, for standing with us as we care for our neighbors in need. Your generosity truly makes a life‑saving difference. ❤️

🎄 Annual Christmas Party at Augusta Rescue Mission 🎄

This past Tuesday evening, we celebrated the season with our annual Christmas Party for our Program Residents and Overnight Shelter Guests! It was an incredible time filled with a caterd BBQ dinner, fun games, and the joy of opening gifts together.

We are deeply grateful to our amazing volunteers and donors whose generosity made this event possible through providing gifts to the men and financial support.

A special thank you to our friends at InFocus Church and Johnston PHC for serving at the event.

Because of your kindness, more than 20 homeless men experienced a festive time and received gifts during this season of hope.

Thank you for helping us share the true meaning of Christmas. ❤️💚
