Human Resources Specialist
Full-time Contract to Permanent
40 hrs Monday – Friday 8am to 4:30 pm
Pay $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (non-exempt)
Tri-State Staffing is a family-owned staffing agency located in Augusta, Maine and we are looking to hire a Human Resources Specialist to work in our office. This position will provide recruitment, onboarding in person and virtual, maintain up-to-date HR files and basic human resources and office support.
Primary Duties will include coordination and oversight of the recruitment and selection process, onboarding new hires, contract tracking and auditing, basic administrative tasks and effective communication and correspondence.
To succeed as the HR Specialist, the candidate must have a positive attitude, a five (5) year combination of education, training, and/or experience which provides a solid knowledge of recruiting, human resources and office administration functions and experience with excel, access, word, outlook and virtual platforms (zoom/teams).
