Pathway Connections DUI & Risk Reduction School

If you get a DUI in Georgia, you may be able to get a limited driving permit if it’s your first DUI and not drug-related, and you don’t have other disqualifying issues. To get it, you have to go to the court where your case was handled and get the required form (DS-1126), then take that form to a DDS office in person and pay $32.00. If approved, you’ll usually get the permit the same day, and it typically lasts up to a year.

The permit only lets you drive for specific reasons like work, school, court, DUI classes, medical visits, or community service—nothing else. You can’t use it for everyday errands. If you break the rules, DDS can take the permit and extend your suspension.
