September 27, 2025, was our last night at the S**g Shack! All kinds of memories made, great music from our three DJ's, more food than we could eat, tears, laughter, and the best of all was the fellowship with our S**g Family. Thank You GEORGE PERKINS from the Bottom of OUR HEARTS! 💞👡👞🎶🎤❤️❣️

Dear S**g Family,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the permanent closing of the S**g Shack on
Saturday, September 27, 2025.
After more than two and a half decades as the home of S**g in Augusta GA, this beloved space—so full of music, laughter, and memories—will close its doors for good due to the complex coming under new ownership.
The S**g Shack was born from the vision and passion of the late George Perkins Jr., whose love for all things S**g, turned an old cabinet shop into the S**g Shack. We remain forever indebted to him for creating a place that has brought so much joy to so many.
We also regret to announce that the S**g Shack will not be able to host it’s CSA Contest on October 4th..
As we prepare to say goodbye, we want to let you know that the S**g Shack will only be open two more times:
• Saturday, August 30th, and
• Saturday, September 27th – our final night together.
We would like to extend an invitation to everyone to come out and join us for one last night of dancing on September 27th. Bring your favorite dish, your own drinks, and your favorite dance shoes. ($10 at the door.) Let’s celebrate the music, the memories, and the magic one more time—together.
Nathan Keip, Joe Tutt and Aaron Hobbs will each take one last turn . The night will conclude, as it should, with songs from Geroge Perkins’ playlist ringing from the speakers.
We appreciate the new owner of the complex for allowing us to open the Shack to say goodbye.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.
