The name ALAS, an acronym for Asociación Latina de Servicios del CSRA, has its roots in the Spanish word ALAS meaning WINGS, a way to fly or ascend.
ALAS, officially established in October 2005, emerged in response to the increasing need of the Latino community of the CSRA to improve its quality of life. The student free clinics of AU including Clinica Latina, Pediatric Clinic, And Free Mental Health, are temporarily closed until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience this may bring for our patients. We are working on a solution for appointment rescheduling, etc.
