Sol Duc Falls, Olympic Peninsula after a prior day of really heavy rain. Beautiful waterfall that the water takes almost a 90-degree turn to the left and drops into the rock gorge. Will go back to there falls in the next few months to catch a little less water flowing. More beautiful that way.

From my last photography trip to the Gatlinburg area before moving to Washington State. Was headed back to the hotel because of big storms and on the drive to hotel I stumbled upon this sight. I paid for my stop by getting extremely wet. Was such a beautiful sight to see the sun braking through the gaps in the clouds lighting up the fall trees in the valley.

This tree has stood guard on the eye for ages protecting the sacred Navajo location in Monument Valley.
