On June 6, 1944, thousands of Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy.

Today, we honor the bravery, sacrifice, and resolve of those who served on D-Day. Their courage helped change the course of history, and we owe them our lasting gratitude.

Happy Pride Month! šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ

Pride is a time to celebrate Maine’s LGBTQ+ community and recommit to the work of making sure everyone can live with dignity, safety, and respect.

I’m proud to stand with LGBTQ+ Mainers, their families and the many people across our communities who continue working toward equality for all.

Communication on the road is essential. Riders and cyclists use hand signals to indicate turns, stops, and hazards, especially if lights fail. Among bikers, two fingers pointed toward the road is the traditional ā€œbiker wave,ā€ meaning ā€œkeep two wheels on the groundā€ and wishing fellow riders a safe journey. Know these signals, stay alert, and always prioritize safety while riding and driving.
