A meaningful memorial piece for her grandmother. 🖤

The before photo is the original tattoo, completed by another artist. The after photo shows the rework I did to clean it up, add balance, and help it age a little more gracefully while keeping the sentiment exactly the same.

I’m always honored when someone trusts me with a tattoo that carries so much meaning.

And some people go straight for New Hampshire’s legendary motto. 😉 My client was born in New Hampshire and wanted a simple way to honor her roots and where her story began.

“Live Free or Die” — a tiny tattoo with over 200 years of history behind it and a special connection to where she was born.
The full quote was, “Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils.”
