Almost 20 years after obtaining my B.F.A. in Studio Art, I felt the siren call back to getting my hands dirty and making my soul happy.
Watching alcohol inks dance, watercolors blend, and paints flow, bring peace to my life and hopefully joy to yours.

Happy Friday. I did a major studio cleanup this week and threw away so many pieces. This was a full sheet of background I pulled out of the trash pile this morning to experiment on - an inverse version so to speak. Always fun to play with no expectations.
I have no idea on colors as this was forever ago, reawakened by added brushstrokes with alcohol. White pen for added dimension.

Happy New Year! I played with three pieces so far this year so far and it’s safe to say that I’m out of practice 😂
I’m enjoying being back at my desk and have some ideas brewing and having fun with the new inks.
