To protect and preserve the written and paper artifacts of Augusta, Georgia. Receptions are held after every meeting for speakers and networking among members.
To this end, the Society’s historical and genealogical research materials are available in the Special Collections area of the Reese Library at Augusta University. The Society is committed to publishing original or out of print publications every two years. Members are invited to attend four meetings a year on various topics of local history given by historians, lecturers and authors. Augusta Rich
