2005 Land Rover LR3 4.4 V8

Complaint : rattle noise at start up,
Land rover dealer said they need to over haul engine to figure out the issue customer rejected and took vehicle back!

Fix : due to running at low oil, driver side VVT hub ( varaible valve timing sprocket) failed internally and and shifted. Makes rattle noise till oil pressure comes up then everything goes away. At first we thought it was failed tensioner due to noise coming from right camshaft tensioner. After replacing tensioner noise didn't go away we then had to credit customer back money and started to diagnose and came upon failed VVT. You were able to visually see that it failed and moved from center to one side!
Did full timing component over haul, all issues are gone.
Same service just half the price then the dealer, and a lot cheaper diagnosis price!!

2006 Audi A4 2.0t.
Complaint : car runs like diesel, and lack of power.

Fix:
Failed cam follower causing damage to high pressure fuel pump, which cause severe damage to intake camshaft.
Replace camshaft, high pressure pump, and cam follower. Car is back running normally quiet and powerful!
