Perry Gerber Band
Funny the things music brings back.
I remember watching The Muppets as a kid and hearing Teenager in Love. And yes… I thought Connie Francis was pretty cute. 😄
An original song I wrote for Debbie.
Songwriting changed everything for me.
After years of only playing bass, I never expected singing would become part of the journey.
Just me, a guitar and “Blue Moon” 🎶
After playing bass my whole life, I never imagined I could sing too. Here's my version of "Blue Moon"
Rocking out at one of the summer festivals.
Good music, good crowd, good night.
My final station in the Marines was Okinawa.
I played bass in another heavy metal band there and got paid $100 for the night… which felt like a fortune back then. That would be over $400 today. No matter where life took me, music was always there.
Summer nights, festival crowds, and a little Runaround Sue by
One of those nights where the music, the energy, and the memories all came together.
When I was stationed in North Carolina in the Marines, I played bass in a biker bar called The Smurfs.

but inside were a couple hundred bikers listening to heavy metal.
What’s the most unexpected place you’ve heard live music?
A little “Ruby, Ruby” 🎶
Live from Muckleshoot Casino—full band, sax in the mix…
one of those nights that just felt right for us.
Right out of high school, I joined the Marines.
Partly because my friends did…
and partly because I was sick of the rain and ready for something different. Didn’t realize then how much it would matter.
A little Ruby Ruby 🎶
Sometimes you just go back to the songs that made you love music in the first place.
