NEW SUMMER HOURS.

Summer in Maine is already so short, and our team of dedicated employees deserves a little more beach time! So we have decided to close our retail store at 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

We will adjust this in the fall but for now, look for them our for an evening walk, bike ride or beach trip after 4pm on these three days a week.

PART TIME HELP WANTED.
(Or full time if that’s what you need)

1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 9am to 5pm. (Can be flexible with times)

2: Auburn Maine retail location

3: We would welcome a college kid who needs summer help or someone looking for a more permanent working home.

4: An interest in, or experience is sewing is helpful but not required.

5: Physically strong with the ability to work on your feet and lift 50lb rolls of fabric is critical.

Warning: a little brag for our family business.

We recently sold a large amount of mesh to an art/architecture firm for an upcoming art installation. They were amazing to work with and super cool people.

It ended up at a little festival out in California, ya know… 😳😳.

April Fools Day:

Today at work the employees printed out this “not so” flattering photo of one of the owners.

And placed it right in front of the video surveillance camera. So when I checked the cameras this is what I got to see. 😂

Wow!! Our customers are talented!

It's a gray morning here in Maine and spring is battling with winter. Spring will win eventually. While we are busy filling all the orders that came in over the weekend I thought I would share this project from our customer Theresa. She breathed new life into this Mid-century Modern chair using all products she got from us at Fabric Warehouse.

Don't let upholstery scare you. There are many projects like this you can do with a simple home machine. Youtube is your friend and there are hundreds of tutorials to be found. Keep these gorgeous pieces of furniture alive!

It's been a hot minute since we've shared some of our awesome customer's creations! Tamara crushed it with this reupholstery job of a gorgeous antique chair! Keep the stunning pieces of furniture alive people! They don't make them like this anymore.

A full tractor trailer holds about 44 skids when they are doubled stacked. or 40,000 yards of home decor fabric .

We have received 7 trucks in the last 4 weeks.

I will let you do the math!

It’s been a busy few weeks. We are guessing it will be June 1st before all these fabrics have photos and details so they can go online.
