High pressure will affect most of the Pacific NW today. Dense fog and low stratus will affect the Puget Sound area and some valleys around WA-northern ID this morning (pale blue).

The upper level high pressure of the last 3-5 days or so is weakening. Maintaining clear skies tonight with 15-25% chance of patchy fog around Puget Sound Tuesday AM. Light winds over the area, but some gustier wind possible east of Portland overnight.

High pressure and generally fair weather will affect most of the Pacific NW today.

Mostly clear skies over ZSE on Sunday night...upper level winds are decreasing, but the chance for moderate turbulence still exists over central and southern areas.

Cool and dry with high pressure in place. Winds from the E/NE direction between middle and upper altitudes over the Cascades...watch out for moderate turbulence out there, especially in parts of OR/N CA tonight.

Stable weather, albeit it on the cold side. Northerly winds continue through Friday night. Stronger winds aloft contribute a threat for moderate high-altitude turbulence.

A relatively quiet night again for ZSE areas--passing high clouds and cool temperatures. There is a 20-25% chance of low cloud/IFR conditions around parts of Puget Sound on Thursday morning.

Some northwest winds at high altitudes reaching 130 mph or so Tuesday night. There may be some light-moderate turbulence over the NE sections of ZSE tonight before upper winds ease locally.

The surface weather map shows high pressure covering the mountain west/PNW...high pressure also overhead, so very stable, dry weather in store Monday night into Tuesday.

In the last 2-3 hours, multiple reports of moderate-severe (isolated *extreme*) low-altitude turbulence due to mountain waves over parts of western .

We're in fog at Seattle, Portland, Spokane today, but with a change in the wind we have a better chance to see some sun with scattered low cloud between 1-5PM.

There's a bit of clear air between patchy fog areas and low-hanging overcast around Puget Sound. Main takeaway is that we think there won't be much clearing today before fog re-develops again tonight over main terminal areas.
