Oh, to know life is found in you, our portion  - and in your presence, there is joy!  

Father, we look to you to lead us today; there is not one of us who can say we too are not looking for the way to life in a world that groans. When we are struggling, discouraged, afraid, overwhelmed, & left empty, let us know that true joy is found in you. Reveal all that we fill our lives with, that which might even be good, but dissipates quickly and does not satisfy.

Help us, our refuge, let us not seek that which brings extra sorrow in a world filled with trouble, but instead turn to you. Amen.

We are so humbled and continually fueled by the passion, leadership, and vision of leaders like Sammy, who prayed for many years to see change across generations in his community.

Step into the life of Sammy and families in E. Africa, where water is scarce, and the water you walk for is unsafe. You treasure every drop because it took so much to get it.

When this is your world, you know deeply: water is life.

Change begins when someone is willing to believe for more, to take faithful steps of obedience, even when there are few to no resources, trusting that God will make a way and, in time, a ripple will multiply.

Sammy believed something could change and let hope take root. Now, the fruit of his day-by-day efforts is becoming apparent and creating a ripple of change.

Together with Sammy and the local leaders, we are changing the story. We do it one filter, one family at a time.

We are excited for another season. This season highlights the impact of the faithful leaders and the tireless efforts of the water ambassador team.

We also see the collective impact over the last 5 years of the water program. As you partner with these faithful leaders, you are making a difference. One leader, one family, one story at a time!

May we sing for joy & rejoice today because we have safety in a God who is our refuge. May we experience his leading of us as we rest in his steadfast love, find delight in his truth & protection in his covering.

Boniface began as a Rejoice Leader, teaching about God’s love in the schools before joining the Rejoice Project Water Ambassador Team when it began 5 years ago!

We are grateful for Boniface and his servant leadership within his community— sharing the not only the good news about clean water but the GOOD NEWS of the source of living water, Jesus!

50 More Families!!

Celebrating the Lord’s provision, faithfulness and love with 50 new water filter recipients this week, bringing the total number of filters distributed by Rejoice Project partners to over ⭐1100⭐in the past 5 years. This is a picture of the Church in action!

The Water Ambassador team did an amazing job leading interactive and engaging training sessions, sharing information about how clean water and simple hygiene practices can greatly improve health outcomes!

Rejoicing for the distribution of Bibles in the Swahili and Kamba languages as recipients shared this is the FIRST TIME they have owned their own Bible in a language they can comfortably read and understand!

Praising God that His Word will continue to spread and lives will be changed for eternity.

WATER FILTER DAY - 50 MORE families have access to safe, clean water today providing hope and change for their families! Thank you! Please pray as the families are trained, equipped and the gospel is shared today. We look forward to sharing more about this special day and the impact you are making!

The beauty and hope in this Psalm - God is strong enough to be our refuge, shelter and hightower while intimate enough to hear our cry. Lead us oh Lord, we look to you as our help.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by Ebola - we ache with those who are on the front lines and in the midst of this unfolding - we pray for continued strength, safety, wisdom, help, resources, and comfort in the midst of mourning, courage, and healing.

Rejoicing in the grace of God today as we are refreshed in The Word.

Psalm 63
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.

Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.

So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,
and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,

when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;

for you have been my help,
