Honestly, it is really hard for me to think about the struggles I face here on earth as light and momentary. When I face the hard things in life, the last thing I think of is this verse. Light and momentary are words I would use to explain getting a shot to a child, not going through a divorce, losing a loved one, or straining through depression and anxiety. Light and momentary feel insufficient. But the Lord did not give us these words to belittle our hurt. He did it to give us perspective. He wants to reassure us that our hurts cannot compare to the weight of glory we will receive in Heaven. This place is not our home. It is not where we belong, and it cannot compare to the glorious living we will do with our Heavenly Father in eternity. Lord, press that into our hearts today as we press into You.

My reminder today to bring it back to Jesus. It is really sad for me to think about how many days I read God's Word and then don't invite Him into the rest of my life. We get so stuck on autopilot that we forget our true purpose. I get so caught up in my worldly things (my clothes, my appearance, my things) that I fail to see Jesus calling me to something deeper. Amidst all the things, all the noise that today brings, I want to see Jesus above and through it all 🌿

3. I'm currently a senior at Auburn (War eagle 🦅) pursuing a degree in marketing and I love it!
4. My absolute favorite thing to do is dance 💃 (I don't mean the professional kind, I mean the Meredith and Christina dancing around the living room kind 🙌🏼)
