Coach Rico Jackson came to Anniston High for games like the one his Bulldogs will be playing this Friday night.

A game that is quite simple: win and proceed to the state championship game, or lose and the season is over.

That sounds like a lot of pressure, doesn't it? Well, Coach Jackson doesn't shy away from pressure. As a matter of fact, one of his first quotes when he arrived at Anniston High was, "This is a win-now location." And that's exactly what he has done.

Since his arrival, the Bulldogs have an overall record of 26-10 and are currently riding a 13-0 record this season.

This Friday night will be the most challenging game of the season by far because he will be facing a coach, Dale Pruitt, who has over 330 wins to his credit, and his defensive coordinator, Jeremy Pruitt, who is a former SEC head coach and five-time national champion as a DC at the collegiate level.

When it comes to these Anniston Bulldogs and Coach Jackson, nothing has been given; everything has been earned, and we are sure they would tell you they wouldn't have it any other way.
