ROSES🌹full demo on | my first time performing since getting Long Covid in March 2023. It’s been three years since I’ve been onstage… and damn I was nervous. You can hear my voice shaking. My breath running out. But I did it anyway.

Because I’ve worked so hard and overcome so much to be able to hold a guitar again or drive myself places or sing a whole song without gasping for breath and getting chest pains. Three years of medications and doctors visits and lab tests and resetting my nervous system. So I could come back here and do what I love the most. Sing my songs.

Honestly? I’ve still got a ways to go to build my artist career up again, but this felt like a great first step. Thank you so much to for the invitation to perform (next one Feb 27th) and to for this great photo, and again for the video.

My friends - thank you for not giving up on me.

This is your sign to step back into your power. To chase your dreams. To show up, even if your voice shakes. May we all stand up, speak up and let our voices be heard. And never give up as we fight for a better world and a better future.
