A lot of people “Know Me” but I let very few people “SEE” me.

I’ve been processing this all week.

I was not just the Emcee or Host in this moment.
This was not just another stage where I was holding the mic.
I showed up on assignment to stir the temperature and activate the atmosphere that Giovanna Burgess Geathers had already set.

And I had to show up myself to BREATHE!
🌬️To stop holding my breath waiting on the next disappointment.
🌬️To stop holding my breath to keep from crying.
🌬️To let other women in where others hurt, offended, or dropped me.
🌬️To trust God with my next breath, no matter what comes next.
🌬️To laugh, dance, and yes even cry, in front of a room full strangers without fear of judgement.

This moment resuscitated my voice.
I have pushed so many other women to activate their voice, to show up, to speak, when the enemy was attacking me to silence my own. But no more…

I decree & declare that
I CAN BREATHE & SO CAN YOU!!

One of the biggest gifts I received from my first Woman Evolve Conference is being seen and allowing myself to connect deeply with women in a new way. I’m so grateful for the genuine encounters with these women.
